Virgin Gorda

Imagine sailing on the doorstep of Richard Branson's famous Necker island or around the unspoiled reefs of Eustatia Sound. Virgin Gorda offers a lot of different places to spend a day or night.  Amazing, very well protected reefs, short hops over to many different scenic spots and great opportunities for almost any adventure you desire.  Kite surfing, snorkeling, wake boarding, diving, sun downers, good cuisine and nightlife.

The yet unspoiled island of Anegada is a wonder in natural beauty and friendly people.  Amazing, very well protected reefs and breathtaking turquoise waters set upon beautiful white sandy beaches. Great opportunities for almost any adventure you desire.  Kite surfing, snorkeling, horse riding, visit conch island, vivid sunsets along with sun downers and good cuisine and so much more. Crew's top suggested 'must see' Island.

Sample 7 day Itinerary

Your vacation will begin at midday and the British Virgin Islands awaits. As you sip your welcome drink and enjoy some hors d'oeuvres, our captain and crew will welcome you onboard, go over the safety aspects for the week and let you get yourselves settled before we head off to the Bight on Norman Island.

After a great first sail to Norman Island, chances are you will be ready to eat. The chef will serve you one of her fusion delights for dinner. Now it's time to relax and unwind from your day of travelling as you get fully acclimated to your new home for the next week.

DAY 2

Today, and for the rest of the week, you'll wake up in Paradise! Hopefully you are fully rested and enjoying the sound of the water gently lapping up against the hull. Let the smell of freshly brewed coffee and freshly cut fruit entice you out of bed. After breakfast, we will stop at the Caves where real treasure was found.  There are three very different caves to explore should you choose, one of which extends back 70ft to a small room.  Are you brave enough?  The underwater gardens of the Indians are a delight to the eyes and is one of the 'must see' spots.

We will sail to Peter Island after your wonderful snorkel and pick up a mooring ball.  If you like to scuba dive, we can arrange a rendezvous dive off Salt Island. This island is home to the Wreck of the Rhone and is a wonderful dive site. The British Virgin Islands and the Rhone were made famous in 1977 as the location for the movie, “The Deep”. No matter how many times you dive on the Rhone, you will still find something new.  Alternatively, you can relax at Peter Island’s gorgeous beach, a truly beautiful setting of palm trees and white sand. This is a quiet overnight spot and is the perfect place to sit on the deck and look at the stars.

DAY 3

After breakfast, we will head to Salt Island where you can roam the Island and enjoy a hike to see the salt ponds and the cemetery.  It is a small Island with a lot of history. Or we could arrange a rendezvous dive if you decided not to partake yesterday.  Next, we will head to Cooper Island, which is small and charming, around lunch time and you can enjoy this wonderful eco-Island.  They brew their own beer, and their rum bar serves over 200 rums.  This can make for a lovely nightcap!

DAY 4

We are off to see one of the wonders of the world, The Baths.  There are few places on earth that are quite so stunningly beautiful, quite so awe inspiring.  The Baths are an area of unique geologic formations and one of the BVI major tourist destinations.  On a stretch of coastline that runs for about a mile, it's almost as if the hand of a giant sprinkled boulders randomly onto a white sandy beach.  Some rolled to a stop near the water, while others piled high, some balance precariously one on top of the other and yet others cracked on impact.

We will sail around the North Sound passing by Mosquito Island and you will see Saba Rock, Prickly Pear and the Bitter End Yacht Club.  There is plenty to see and do here and many places to spend the evening, such as Leverick Bay where the infamous pirate Michael Beans legendary show unfolds.

DAY 5

Today we will set sail for the only atoll within the BVI, Anegada.  Anegada is the only major coral island within the BVI. This island features amazing beaches, an immense barrier reef - which is the 3rd largest in the world, salt ponds, flamingos, rock iguanas, fabulous sunsets and delicious lobster dinners. We have many favorite restaurants and tours we can recommend to you.  Do you want to check out conch island? Do you want to ride a horse into the sunset?  This is the place to do that!  We recommend renting one of the Moke's and take a tour around the flat Island.

DAY 6

Off on an early sail heading towards Jost Van Dyke.  We can stop at Sandy Spit, a small strip of sand in the middle of the ocean, head over to the Bubbly Pool if the swell is here, Diamond Reef for a snorkel, stop at Great Harbour for a ball and the night and take the dinghy over to White Bay, home of the Soggy Dollar Bar and the painkiller!  We can enjoy the beautiful beach, play the ring toss game and enjoy a painkiller or two.

DAY 7

We will make the short jump over to Cane Garden Bay for our last full day onboard Belline II. There is so much to do here.  It is a great place to check out the big Island of Tortola if you are not staying on for a couple of extra days, the rum distillery is within walking distance from the beach.  If you want to check out some fauna and flora of the Islands, we suggest a nearby hiking tour.  Plenty of restaurants and bars to enjoy and some of the best sunsets in the whole of the BVI are right here.

DAY 8

We will sail back to Hannah's Bay Marina for midday where we can have a taxi waiting to take you to the airport, seaport or a villa/hotel.
