Walter,52,
is a licensed captain and a certified mechanic. He always has a
helping hand for other boaters, too! They call him, "Walter-will-fix-it".
During
a very cold and rainy summer in Europe in 1987, Walter went to the
Dominican Republic for a dive vacation . He loved it and stayed to open
one of the first European dive schools.
He
never stopped dreaming from the perfect Dive & Relax Vacation
solution. |
|
|
In
1991 he went to France and
bought the Belline ll. After customizing the Catamaran, he set
sail through the Biscay to the Mediterranean sea where he cruised along
the French coast, the Balearic Islands , Gibraltar and the Grand
Canaries . From there Walter and his crew set sails for a cross Atlantic
cruise .
They
had a wonderful quiet time across, and made landfall in the BVI's 21
days later. Walter and his crew thought they where the next
Columbus in Paradise when they found that the beer at Pusser's Landing
on the dock was only a nickel! (What they didn't know was they had
landed on a Thursday, when Pusser's Pub was celebrating a special "Nickel-Nite").
|
|
|
Walter is captain of Belline ll ever since and has entertained more than
3000 guests over the past 18 years! Many of which return year after year
and have had the pleasure to be certified as PADI Open Water Divers or
children who once attended an Bubble Maker and later returned to get
fully certified.
|
|
|
He is described in many guest letters with a laid back personality and a
patience of a saint.
Nothing brings him easily out of control and he seams to be ahead of it
all at all times.
|
|
|
Guests love to have conversations with Walter about the world and above.

Simeon is 35, Scottish and a certified Dive instructor In his early
twenties he started to extensively travel and work in beautiful and
exotic countries like Spain, Greece on Rhodes and Santorin, Maldives,
Vietnam, Nicaragua on Little Corn Island, Australia and Thailand. In
some as a Dive base assistant and manager.
|
|
After
all the traveling, Simeon has settled and been living/working in the
BVI´s. Thus he is very knowledgeable with the islands, its magic and
beauty. He also completed two seasons on a very busy charter boat and
worked on land as well. |
|
He
loves to show guests the best snorkel/dive spots and is a great and calm
dive buddy who does not only know all the fish and corals but also is
concerned to protect them.
During his travels he entertained a lot of friends and guests with a
variety of mix drinks and blenders… although he drinks very little
alcohol himself…
Simeon is not only and active and sportive person, he is as easy going
but attentive as well. In his free time he enjoys reading, movies and
running, as well he is studying his “rusty” Greek, Rhodes is where he
calls "home".
|
|
He
holds several Dive Instructor certificates in different levels and logs
thousands of dives and is an experienced apneist. He sailed single
handed 2500miles on his 27ft boat around the west Caribbean, including
Dominican Repl., Puerto Rico, Jamaica and Cuba with only two
weeks
being
on land !
Being
an avid sailor makes one to be a good fisherman too and he now is a
master in filleting Mahi Mahi and other delicious fish, he caught a 60lb
sailfish on his voyage!
